Successful introduction of HoloVizio in the European Parliament, Strasbourg, 23-24. November 2002
The European Parliament organized an "open weekend" on 23-24th November 2002 as an occasion for the candidate countries to introduce themselves for the citizens of the EU. Hungary wanted to provide an overall picture of the country in the framework of "Hungaria Salutat Europam" project, exhibiting the most characteristic elements for the EU: cultur, gastronomy and high-tech industry. Holografika was honored by the organizers being selected to introduce HoloVizio for the 22.000 visitors and the press, as one of the most important innovations.

The organising committee has had a lot of fun preparing the IST 2002 event, and evaluating the many ideas you yourselves have submitted for inclusion. In some cases the discussion and debate to make selections was long. . . in just a few cases it was very short. These are the items which for us, just had to be included: the ones that seemed to be the most impressive. These are the most important ? exhibits whose impact is both obvious and profound, the potential applications of technology that just grab your imagination and blow your mind away. Listed are just a very few of the items that we think everyone is going to want to see. Take our advice. Start planning how to make best use of your time during IST 2002.

Clinical cases were demonstrated for the radiologists and clinicians attending the 21st Congress of the Hungarian Society of Radiologists, 29-31 Aug, Szeged (Hungary). Demonstrations presented were developed in the cooperation of General Electric Medical Systems and Holografika, by interfacing HoloVizio's software system to the GE Advantage Windows workstation, so that to visualize the.volume and surface rendered images in real 3D on the holographic display. The Radiology Department of Heim Pál Hospital (Budapest) did the coordination of the developmental work.
